Committeewoman Ann Marie Conte has lived in Wall Township throughout her life and currently resides in the Glendola section of the town. Ann Marie is married for the past 20 years to Chris. Together they have two beautiful children, Nicole 16 and Brandon 13 who both attend the Wall Township School system. She has one brother Robert who resides in Costa Rica with his wife and two children. Her parents Ann and Anthony Rembiszewski reside in Wall Township.
Committeewoman Ann Marie obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and Sociology from Mount Saint Mary's College in 1987 and received her Associates Degree in Nursing in 1993 from Ocean County College.
Committeewoman Ann Marie Conte is a registered certified Pediatric nurse who is attending Monmouth University for a Master's Degree in Health Care Administration. Ann Marie is currently employed by the K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey. She is the Nurse Manager for Pediatric ICU, Pediatrics and Pediatric Day Stay Unit. She has been with the organization for the past 15 years. She has successfully led her units to thrive during the growth of the children's hospital and recent state designation in 2006 as a Children's Hospital for Monmouth and Ocean County. She manages her units as teams that include not only the nursing staff but also physicians, clinical and non-clinical support staff. With the passion and strong commitment for pediatric nursing comes a deep seated sense of advocacy for children and their safety. This advocacy extends beyond the walls of the units that she manages. Ann Marie is a fervent champion of bicycle helmet use and has established helmet safety programs in Wall Township schools and the surrounding community's schools. Because of this true passion and commitment to children Ann Marie was recently nominated in 2009 for the prestigious Governor's award which recognizes excellence in the practice of nursing.
Ann Marie proudly coached Wall Pop Warner Cheerleading for many years, helping her team reach the finals in Walt Disney World where they were crowned National Champions. Ann Marie has also served the community as a member of the Wall Township Board of Adjustment, the Wall Community Relation/ Alliance, and served as President for one term on the Wall Board of Education. Lastly, Ann Marie serves as a Parish Nurse at St. Catharine's Church in Spring Lake.
Committeewoman Conte is passionate and dedicated to maintaining Wall's character, values and quality of life while maintaining fiscal responsibility and accountability to the residents of Wall Township.
